Enterprising States Innovate

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation will release a comprehensive assessment of African-American student achievement across all fifty states and the District of Columbia identifying significant gaps in equality. Produced as part of the Foundation's Leaders & Laggards series, The Path Forward: Improving Opportunities for African-American Students (https://www.uschamberfoundation.org/leaders-and-laggards/#/2015/map) reveals missed opportunities to prepare K-12 African-American students for success in college and careers.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation did a study based on six economic ratings and named the top performing states thriving in the innovation and STEM economy.

Because it was a large, country-wide project, a colleague of mine and I worked as a team to pitch media in the 50 states and schedule print, radio and TV interviews. We wrote press releases for each state, and here's one that provides more info about the overall study.
