Scope of Work

Imagine Consulting provided PR campaign strategy, planning and implementation, and spokesperson services for print, radio, and TV interviews. Initiatives included writing press releases, curating regional media target lists, pitching to media, securing and coordinating interviews, and outreach and collaboration with campaign stakeholders.

Background 

Hungry Howie's Pizza launched the Love Hope Pizza campaign to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). The campaign objective included education and awareness about early detection and support available through NBCF and its community partners.

​

The Hungry Howie's franchisee group in Florida and Alabama wanted a communications and public relations strategy to create awareness for the campaign and increase the impact of its educational and public information efforts on statewide and local levels.

Solution

Public relations activities included annual press releases during breast cancer awareness month and pitching media information about the campaign and NBCF programs. Imagine Consulting made spokesperson appearances on radio and TV shows in markets in Florida and Alabama. Additionally, interviews were coordinated and given to print media generating local and regional coverage.

 

Annually, stakeholders, including NBCF, franchisees, community partners, hospitals, etc., were communicated and coordinated with for collaboration and to increase support and participation in campaign publicity and events. Through year end 2021, Love Hope & Pizza raised more than $4 million to support NBCF programs nationwide that serve survivors and those currently battling breast cancer and increase awareness for early detection.
